Wellington

I, too, enjoyed Wellington and was thankful that it wasn’t as windy as it could have been. This wind wand proves it.

Dale didn’t know that his pictures were of tuberous begonias (some of my mother’s favorites) and I can’t feel superior because I don’t know the names of these two quite interesting specimens either. Note that that is all one leaf. The variety of God’s creation never ceases to amaze and delight me!

Our 4×4 trip was fun and although I enjoyed the “cute” seals who we were told could be dangerous I liked the orange lichen better and was especially interested to see it covering a bone. And the scenery was beautiful out by the leaning lighthouse on this overcast afternoon.
