Wellington had it all; rain, wind, fog and cold. This entire trip has us bouncing around from temperate to tropical climates every week. Nevertheless it is fun and above all, interesting. In Wellington we had two primary activities. The first was what was called a panoramic tour of the city. This included the Parliament buildings, the oldest wooden church in the city, the botanical gardens and the highest hill.

To get there we had to climb over 1000 ft hills covered with Wind turbines, goats and sheep and some deer being raised for meat. It was so foggy in the hills that it was not interesting to me for photos and I am not interested in goats and sheep eating grass. The seals were however interesting and they almost seemed to have personalities and the New Zealand seagulls are so clean looking. Jenni told me to stop taking pictures of seagulls but I think they are kind of cool with their orange feet.

The lonely lone lighthouse makes us curious about the many stories it has to share.
Kin liked the whiskers on the seals.
Purple flowers are orchids and orange look like begonias. I enjoy all your photos especially the seals.
