Remember “Pin the tail on the donkey” How would you do in a contest with an unlabeled map with the task of placing the colored pin on Punta del Este, Uruguay? After you adjusted your pin with a regular labeled map how would you do visualizing what Punta del Este, Uruguay would look like? This was our surprise stop. It doesn’t look like or feel like any other country in South America. Speaking of “feeling like,” how about that hand coming out of the beach?

photo being restoredWe felt right at home here with the Kawasaki off road vehicles. The bridge below is is viewed as a national treasure. It is actually twin span. There are two. Seems like enough. The architecture is of homes and apartments is stunning and the equal of anything on our own coastline. We even saw a new Trump Tower under construction. There is big money in this little country.

Incredible photos, especially the sunsets. Thanks for sharing
Loved the hand at the beach. The bridge looked like a amusement park ride. I wonder how many cars got damaged on that road ?!????
