photo being restoredOur favorite ranger, Shawn, tried to see who was home under the termite mound. He didn’t get his head in far enough to find out. Probably an aardvark which we never see because they are nocturnal.

photo being restoredThese aloe plants are quite different from ours in AZ and we enjoyed their quirky looks.
The red and dusty roads of the property were beautiful to us but hiking off the beaten path was great for those of us who hike together in AZ and WA. Shawn led us and kept the gun close just in case.
