The klipspringers blended in so well that we probably passed them without seeing them more often than not.

The ordinarily curios giraffes weren’t thinking about us today as they batted their necks together in play. But sometimes it’s deadly serious and one of the giraffes here has only one ossicone to prove it.

I had thought that the wildebeest were large until today when we encountered them alongside the cape buffalo. I couldn’t believe how huge the buffalo actually were! I am very sure I don’t want to encounter them on a hike!

I can never resist climbing down and back up and we all enjoy the sunset from that location.

Another day, another adventure. The fishing competition between staff, Americans and world leaders was a fun afternoon. Barb and Dan took home some honors and Luke and I at least gave it a shot.

The pastors and leaders got a beautiful send-off from the staff. Those people can really sing!

And so we bid goodbye to friends who inspired us and blessed us by sharing their stories of how God is working where they live — and it is amazing!
