We glided into Sydney before sunrise. Half the ship was awake and outside on deck after days at sea and anticipation of this beautiful harbor. Oh well, it was just plain dark. Jenni got some interesting photos of the lights on shore and I waited for the pre-dawn glow before firing off the camera. We docked about ten or fifteen minutes past the famous Harbor Bridge at White Bay, Sydney’s second cruise terminal rather than downtown at Circular Quay which was fully occupied. This meant that Viking hired a ferry to shuttle us back and forth from White Bay to Circular Quay. Since many people planned long excursions, the ship opened the Breakfast buffet at six in the morning so we could all get through immigration and on our way.
Here is photo of Jenni, Brenda, and Bob at breakfast before sunrise.
