Our computers have been problematic and Dale has been spending hours working on them so until we get them back to normal I must apologize for the delay in posting and the quality of the pictures. I just wanted to show you a bit of the ship and especially the Christmas decorations.

On Christmas Eve the staff had a lovely service in the Star Theatre and we have spoken to the cruise director about having Bible studies.

And, Christmas Eve being Dale’s birthday, Viking gave him a special treat.

The food is great and we are able to try things that are unusual and interesting at almost every meal.

Most of the time so far we have just been on the sea but on Christmas day we docked in Cozumel, Mexico, where Brenda persuaded me to go snorkeling with her. It was a pleasant day in the sun on a catamaran and the snorkeling was fun but the fish were few and far between. Brenda tried hard in the very active water to get some pictures. Dale and Bob walked into town and came back exhausted. It’s hot and humid and we know that will be so for the majority of this cruise.

We have attended a few lectures — one by a man who has rowed across both the Atlantic and the Pacific! and a couple of photography talks — and we’ve met many wonderful crew members who promise to become friends before long. We’re working at meeting our fellow passengers, especially at the puzzle table and on our excursion. Last night we had dinner with four new friends who are also interested in doing Bible studies. In just the first four days we’ve settled in and feel right at home!

I’m glad you were able to post. I have been looking every day as we have been at home and unable to travel. I pray that the Lord gives you some opportunities to share with people.
