photo being restoredAlbany is a beautiful, clean small city with a great deep water port. Unfortunately it never developed into a major center much to the frequently voiced lament of our guide. From Albany we went on an all day bus tour which included lunch at a great restaurant and vineyard. See Jenni’s blog.

photo being restoredThis is the where we ate and talked to the Fujian/Indian Australian chef at length. The Chef also kept a beautiful garden behind the restaurant. The vineyard surrounded the restaurant lawn. Beautiful country!

photo being restoredAfter the vineyard we went for a tree walk and finally to a beach before heading back to the ship. Perfect mid 70’s weather. The guy behind Jenni is known as “hippy Bob.”

photo being restoredThat’s Jenni and Brenda on the beach with their shoes off while everybody else was concerned with making it back to the bus in time. The bus was parked way up on a bluff above. These girls were fast. No problem!
