Many of my impressions of Valparaiso were taken from the bus window so they are different from Dale’s. And they may have ugly reflections in them. Bus tours are the norm in the cities so sometimes that’s the best we can do. The buses here are not always up to par but thankfully the day was not so hot that we needed AC.

photo being restoredAmazingly the old hillside buildings have withstood many earthquakes and add a certain charm to the city.
And now a confession. That wasn’t our tour bus.
Our son teaches at Valparaiso University in Indiana. Named after this city, for some reason!
