Sydney is a lovely city — modern, clean, has everything you could want. What else can I say? It’s a city and I prefer the landscapes so I guess that’s why it gets fewer pictures than little Eden got.
We came in early this morning as the city was waking up to Saturday and its markets and beaches. Our tour was a 3 1/2 hour tour all over the city and we got a great overview including downtown, parks and the famous Bondi Beach, which was hot and sticky today for those of us without swim suits.
This grasslike plant had interesting berries but I have no idea what it is. Do you?
Our tour ended right near where we are docked and both of Sydney’s most famous icons are right here. Our guide said that of the two they value the bridge the most, I suppose because of its utility.
