Still Here in Arizona. . .

One week and one day till we fly to Miami and I feel like packing and standing at the curb waiting for the ride to the airport. Arizona is beautiful this time of year. The afternoons are in the mid 70’s and early sunsets are amazing. Today is Christmas day. This afternoon we have a dinner planned with Bob and Audra, our son and daughter in law along with grandkids Kaiti and Jacob and Audra’s mother, brother and his two kids. It will be a great time together but I feel like I am only half here. I am already off on the grand voyage in my mind. I need to focus on the moment. December has been a busy month. Christmas, anniversary, Jacob’s and my birthdays and the annual “live nativity” presentation at our church where I worked a photo booth taking dozens of family photos with everyone dressed up in 1st century costumes. It has all been good. family. friends and constant reminders of Christ in whom we live and have our very being.
