Sea Days

Well, we’re on the 4th day of our current 5 day run of sea days on our way to Hawaii. The temperature is rising and the ride is sometimes rough but we are keeping busy. It was very rough at first so the captain took a detour but we couldn’t avoid some of it and we have to keep laughing at ourselves and the other passengers as we walk around the ship looking a bit drunk.

Our side of the ship was being washed as we left CA but it was all to no avail as the salt and the rain has washed over us off and on ever since then. Today isn’t bad with only occasional whitecaps and not too much rolling.

We were finally given rooms for our Bible studies and the men’s and the women’s groups started on Friday with about 15 people in each. On Saturday we had a couples or mixed group since some of the women wanted to view the courses that the men were doing as well. So it will be an every other sea day plan for all of the groups and everyone is thankful for the opportunity to learn together as we cruise.
