NFL south of equator

Once again Viking paid out the big bucks to grab the satellite feed for the NFL playoffs. Not so bad with blue skies, mid eighties and burgers on the grill and unlimited beverages. They do their best to please. There is no doubt. And that’s how my afternoon and evening progressed with dinner being served between games. Will I ever tire of Norwegian King Crab?  — not likely.

This morning was pretty great also. We had an interdenominational Christian church service in the main theater with a lot of people in attendance. It was more liturgical than what we are accustomed to but it affirmed the Apostles Creed and featured a thoughtful message based on the baptism of Jesus narrative in the gospels. We also had the opportunity to announce both a men’s and women’s Bible study we are organizing with Bob and Brenda Kerr. The ship is giving us a private meeting room for our two studies. We are thankful for this opportunity to have these discussion groups with interested fellow passengers.
