Grenada – Nutmeg and Chocolate

We spent our entire time in Grenada visiting two local island industries, Nutmeg and Chocolate. Interesting island, nice people, not so touristy as other places. We rode a minibus out to see two local businesses which took up all of our time and we just got back to the ship for a late lunch and sailing.

A lot or processing before these beans become chocolate. They do the whole deal at this little factory.

Sorting and packing nutmegs is mind-numbing. This little place is the fourth largest producer of Nutmeg in the world
