We woke up this morning while gliding across turquoise seas into the set of “South Pacific.” I guess we should be singing Bali Hai, not Bora Bora because this island was the inspiration for South Pacific. It has one industry – tourism. It is truly beautiful. Jenni and I took the included boat tour this morning with our singing guide. Then we came back to the ship for lunch. After lunch we parted ways. I took a nap and worked on this blog. Jenni went out snorkeling with sharks. At least it was advertised that way. As attractive as that sounded, I opted out.
The photo at the top is the “Conrad” resort. Very pricey stuff. Our guide said a one night rental of a villa was about the same as renting him and his boat for a month.
