All dressed up and

We were all packed and ready for our adventure on Easter Island when word came that there was to be no landing there today. So, we viewed it from afar.

The waves crashing on the shore were our reminder that it just wouldn’t have worked to board the tenders.

We saw some of the Moai from the ship and at least got a feel for the terrain.

The day was sunny until late afternoon when it actually took on the look of a whiteout and one of my last views was of what looked very much like a reclining Moai.

We’ll be on the ship for eleven days in a row now that we didn’t get off on Easter Island. It’s a great ship and we enjoy it and all the interesting people we keep meeting.
